Today I took my booth space in Syracuse from this…
Setting up a booth takes time. I’m one tired girl tonight. Time for some quick tips and sleep so I’ll be ready to greet many quilter’s tomorrow. I hope you might be one of them. If you are at the show, come by and say hi. You can find me in booth #1509!
Thank you to the four people who commented on last week’s post. I’ll be contacting you in the next few days to send you the new Shoo Fly pattern.
Last week I started sorting and trying to reduce the piles of my quilting things. I really need to get all the fabric under control. I’ve decided to take some of the leftovers and cut them into 5″ squares. One of my guild’s challenge is to do something (we don’t know the rules yet) with 5″ squares. So, a good way to make a start in the leftovers.
#1 – pick a size and cut leftovers into specific sizes. (My recommendation is 5″ squares and 2 1/2″ strips. Why those measurements? There are many books focusing on those numbers. And for me…I already own them!)
#2 – Store projects in clear plastic bins. Be sure to label them. Then if you are going on a retreat or to a friend’s house to sew…you can grab the bin and go sew!
